Rhetoric Project
Reflection
The project that I did was a biblical perspective on the death penalty, my views on were through the eyes of God and through the view of Love. So at the exhibition, I had a great time explaining my views on it and trying to show others the “light”, a lot of different people had different perspectives on it. Most of the people I encountered loved me for showing my biblical beliefs because sometimes it’s hard to show and stand for what you believe for. And some didn’t believe in my Op-Ed because they believed in an “eye for an eye” and that’s ok, some tried to change my mind with that idea but I stood my ground and kept my faith. And after the project I would say my political views stayed the same, I love the Information that some would tell me but my overall views of peace and love never changed throughout my project. And a willingness to be disturbed in a democratic society would be showing the effects of climate change and gun control maybe? But anyway this project was a great success, I feel like this has been an excellent impact on my knowledge of our society and my overall knowledge of the word of God.
Eating is an Agricultural Act?
In this project I went over the harmful effects of SCD which is Supply, Consumption, and Demand. This is a harmful cycle that all of us as a Americans go through when we go shopping, it goes over how we supply in rapid amounts due to the rapid demand of consumption of such product. I've learned about the effects on our environment when we mass productions of plastics and metals as well as the effects of mass breeding in animals This project shows us what is really going in our foods, it shows us what people put in such as chemicals and GMO's, As well as how they're taking care of our foods. It shows us the effects on our bodies and in our world around us, just buying foods in mass quantities at the store can negatively impact all of us in many different ways. The main take away from this is to regulate, regulate what you buy. Instead of buying that cheap steak at Walmart, buy one that organic and fresh, or instead of buying canned veggies buy fresh veggies. Mainly what we want to do is buy in smaller quantities and in better qualities, that in the end will stop mass productions and give us better foods. Because it wont only help you, it will help the others around you. |
My Life On Earth
In this project we are writing about our own views on why we were put on this earth and what is our meaning. I personally took the religious way, I believed that we were put on this world to learn and to be tested by God. I took this route because I my self am a religious person who thinks there is a God who created all of us, and this project was not to seek an answer, but to help others who are seeking for that question what is life to give direction.
Through this project I've gained so much insight on religion and other peoples views, some people have different Gods and views on there meaning on this earth. I've always had this thought of why were here, no one has really influenced me other than the Bible and God of course. But its all just another view, someone who's of different religion will say there God has this plan or that plan. All I have left to do is finish my book, my book of life so that God can read my story. There's no more questions, I meant there's a lot of questions still unanswered but we need to figure those out for our selves. So all I have to say is whats your story gonna be when you die? are you gonna have a good one or a bad one? who knows. |
